What is Upward?
Upward Sports is the largest Christian sports program in the world that was founded on the vision of doing "whatever it takes" to provide the best sports experience for the children that participate in its different leagues. Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues. We would love to have you on our team! Upward is for children K thru 6th grade and is open for all children. We have both girls and boys leagues and we also have a cheerleading program as well.

We can't wait to see how God works through us this year to reach children and families for Jesus Christ. If you love kids, sports, and Jesus Christ we want you to serve on our team. We are looking for people who are willing to do whatever it takes to reach and impact the next generation through sports ministry. Are you willing? Will you join us?
Did you know that it takes over 125 volunteers to effectively create a quality experience for the kids and families in Upward Basketball & Cheer? In other words we can't fulfill our mission without you.
We are now taking volunteer applications for the following areas:
- Prayer Partners
- Division Commissioners for both Basketball & Cheer
- Coaches & Assistants for Basketball & Cheer
- Referees for Friday Night and Saturday Games
- Game Day Coordinators Friday Night & Saturday
- Greeters for Friday Night and Saturday Games
- Score Keepers for Friday Night and Saturday Games
- Announcers for Friday Night and Saturday Games
- Concession Stand Workers for Friday Night and Saturday
- Half Time Devotion/Activities Commissioner
Upward Sports is more than another league! Upward Sports exists to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports.

Important dates to remember:
– Early Bird Registration until October 12th
– Early Bird Pre Registration and Uniform Sizing Saturday, September 8, 9:00am - 12:00pm
– Coaches Training / Volunteer Orientation Thursday, October 11th 5:30pm in the FLC
– Upward Family Orientation & Evaluations October 15th, 16th, & 18th 6:00pm - 8:00pm
– Practice begins the week of Monday, November 26th
– First Game Friday, January 4th
– Awards Celebration Wednesday, March 6th
